ML @ Together as One Easter Charity Event 10/4/22
Well, it's that time again! Time for the Together As One Easter Charity Event. TAO is owned by 11Winter11, a very well known awesome singer in SL. Winter Winters, along with his managers, associates, singers, hosts, sponsors, vendors, givers and so many that it would take pages to write all the names, come together to raise money for charities four times a year. This weekend the event was dedicated to KiKa, a charity that takes care of children with cancer in the Netherlands. I wanted to blog an artist that Droppin the Stream hasn’t blogged as of yet, and I found the talented ML (Master.lysios). So rise and shine for me, as ML was singing first on Sunday morning at 5 am!! Shaking Neo awake, pouring the coffee and sticking the sticky tape on my eyelids to keep them open, off we went to the show.
Already the crowd was gathering, some wearing the cutest bunny outfits and passing out that virtual coffee. The venue was decorated in beautiful Easter pageantry with flowers, Easter bunnies, Easter baskets and all the ornamentation that brings back those sweet childhood memories. And then there was the marketplace filled with vendors, to excite anyone who loves to shop! Of course I had to eventually visit that area and found the cutest little Easter fingernails!
So, standing at the venue, yawning, waiting for ML to begin, I was thinking-oh he will slowly begin his show with tunes to gently wake us to this beautiful day. Boy was I mistaken!! Ramping up that guitar and shouting, “LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!” ML began singing “Mony Mony” by Billy Idol. OK I’m awake now ML, thank you very much! LOL. ML claimed he was getting over the flu - really? No Way - I never would have guessed that! If that’s the voice of flu remnants, I want some of that flu!
Next came “Turn the Page” by Bob Seger (a long time favorite of mine) then onto my request “Unchain My Heart” by Joe Cocker. I love requesting this song, not only because I love Joe Cocker and this particular song, but this song showcases some of the high notes artists can achieve and ML did not disappoint. ML’s voice and style is all energetically rockin and powerful. Hitting the gas hard, he was taking on a great ride!
ML sang another one of my favorites, “Purple Rain” by Prince. Many think Prince was singing of a failed love affair, but how many of you know what he was really singing about with purple rain? Prince told of how “When there’s blood in the sky-red and blue makes purple-purple rain pertains to the end of the world and being with the one you love and letting your faith/God guide you through the purple rain.” I hope everyone gets a chance to be with the one they love and dance together in the purple rain at that moment.
More of ML’s exhilarating tunes were: “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me” - U2, (hummm what was Neo thinking when he requested that one), “The Final Cut” and “Comfortably Numb” by Pink Floyd, “Rock N Roll is King”-Electric Light Company, “Yellow”-Cold Play, “Fat Bottomed Girls”-Queen (Any Queen song is such an exciting excursion). ML also sang in German a song entitled, “Engel” from Rammstein, which is about angels.
I am so delighted I got to meet ML and experience his show! Thank you so much for donating your talent and time to a cause that is so worthy. Hunt down ML in music events and attend his show. You will be thoroughly entertained! Awesome show ML!! Loved it! Huggsss Trishia

★ ML's whole life has been dedicated to music. He's always been a fan of Classic Rock, and especially fond of Pink Floyd. While he enjoyed singing day to day, it wasn't until he met his lady Rhesa that it was discovered he really had an incredible talent. With her encouragement and guidance, he began singing live on Second Life. This opened up a whole new world to ML, and his passion for performing grew more with each performance. Today, ML is a dynamic performer who interacts and includes his audience with each one of his performances. Personalizing his performance to suit the venue and his listeners. He's unique in the way he can zero in on someone and set a fire to the audiences he performs for.
ML specializes in classic rock, ie: Billy Idol, ZZ-Top, The Doors, AC/DC, Metallica, The Golden Earring, and Fleetwood Mac. His favorite to perform though, is Pink Floyd.
ML is so dedicated to Pink Floyd, he took it upon himself to build a replica of The Wall stage equipped with lighting and graphics unsurpassed by anything you've seen during a live performance.
